Week One:
Attend Class with Ideas & Sketches
Outline Story: Beginning, Middle, End
Character Designs: Exploring Animal/Pet Designs
Homework: Write your Story and Return with Designs of Your Characters
Week Two: Share Your Story
Story: Finalized in Class
Character Designs: Finalized in Class
Background Designs: Exploring Background Designs Based on Your Story
Homework: Begin to match the words and sketching out with backgrounds
If story and designs are finalized, homework is to begin to assemble.
Week Three: Assembling the Pieces
Story: Completed
Character Designs: Completed
Background Ideas: Finalizing in Class
Begin assembling all the pieces in class.
Homework: Complete all the elements
Week Four: Sharing Our Stories in Class
Depending on the number of students, we may be doing partial story sharing.
Supplies Needed: White Paper or Card Stock, Any Medium student chooses to work with: pencil, crayons, markers, paint, colored pencils or a combination of all.
This is a class to encourage free thinking, creativity, and exploring choice as the Artist and Author.
