Elementary Reading Comprehension Practice

Do you ever read something and think, What did that just say? This class will help students understand what they read in a fun and easy way!

We will practice:

Breaking down tricky texts into smaller, easier parts.

Creating mental pictures to help remember details.

Using clues from the text to figure out meanings.

Each week, we will:

Day 1: Work together to practice reading strategies with teacher guidance (We do it together!).

Day 2: Practice understanding and explaining what we read (You try it with support!).

This class is perfect for students who can read but sometimes struggle to understand or answer questions about what they read. No materials are needed—just bring your curiosity!
