Poetry Writing 101

Find a great way to express yourself! Poetry is writing but, in your own way. Sometimes writing requires so many rules but, with poetry you can write mostly however you want. That is a great feeling when you have lots of things you want to say. When students join this class, they will be taught basic poetry styles, writing skills, and poetry formats. Students will be able to create their own poems and share them for feedback if they desire. Upon the conclusion of this class, students will be equipped with additional writing skills, have a poetry portfolio, and have a new form of expression under their belt.
